Conceptual Development:
-Determine job requirements
-In depth review of your specific design needs, identifying style
-Review inspiration magazines & photos with client
-Architectural design development with client, architect & contractor to achieve a harmonious result
CAD Drawings:
-Provide furniture& art layout for lighting and floor outlet locations
-Provide detailed floor plan and elevations for kitchen and baths
-Propose ceiling designs to project architect and review the reflected ceiling plan
-Draw tile, stone & wood plans
-Design staircase railings
Design development:
-Develop design concept including color schemes, design styles, finishes and materials
-Specify appliances and fixtures
-Select furniture styles, lighting, accessories and art
Purchasing and Consultation:
-Purchase furnishings & materials to be approved by client
-Determine use of existing furniture for refinishing and re-upholstery
-Write purchase orders and process with vendors
-Expedite all orders
-Coordinate crating, shipping and delivery
Installation:
-Job site visits to review framing, rough electrical, rough plumbing, lighting, drywall, and installation of cabinetry, fixtures, and finish materials as needed.
-Supervise delivery and placement of items purchased on clients behalf |
